Amidst ongoing public outcry on issues with the budget
presented by the Ghana Football Association to the government, Mr Frnaklin
Cudjoe, Head of Imani Ghana, a policy think tank, has spurt his anger at Ghana’s
soccer management team. On his facebook page, Mr Cudjoe implied that, its only
a matter of “creative accounting” for one to know that, the soccer managers of
the country’s national team “will earn more money than the players..”

The budget was initially rumored at whopping $20M. But a
recent BBC story on the black stars reported that, Ghana would go into the
World Cup finals in Brazil with less than half the budget they had for the
tournament in South Africa four years ago. The approved budget confirmed by the
GFA is $9.8M.
