Owusu Addo popularly known in show business as Sarkodie has been unveiled as
the new breastfeeding ambassador in Ghana at a launching ceremony for the 2014
World Breastfeeding Week in Accra under the theme ‘Breastfeeding: A Winning
Goal for Life’.
This follows his passion to use music as a medium of arts to develop humanity and also affect his fans positively.

Sarkodie says that as an icon a lot of people looked up to
him for guidelines in their lives hence he believed that his involvement in the
breastfeeding campaign will motivate a lot of mothers to continue to breastfeed
their babies due to the enormous benefits associated with it.
He added that he
has a lot of following especially on social media hence he intention to use the
platform to advocate breastfeeding among mothers.
