(Video) Watch How Don DKB 'Rocked' The 1000 Laughs Series Stage

The conception that Ghanaians suck at telling jokes and cannot be professional comedians are mischievous conspiracies aimed at giving other countries an urge to rule stand-up comedy in Africa. This is huge and we should not take it likely. I believe arts and entertainment should be liberal and therefore am not saying contents from other countries should be utterly barred in Ghana, however, we must give equal grounds for exploitation and in all fairness, cocoon our talents so that they can grow to compete internationally.

What DKB did on the stage of the 1000 laughs series last weekend wasn't just to prove a point that Ghana had equally good comedians, its in fact, a heroic rescue of our entertainment industry from the jaws of heinous conspirators who would have hitherto killed the world's fate in Ghanaian comedians.  To this we say kudos to George Quaye of Charter House, organizers of the event and the Don himself, DKB for making us have hope once again. So to all the aspiring comedians in Ghana, please the path is created, prepare, prepare and get on stage... no one will stone you off!
